Data Fulfillment is the process of delivering a Data Product to a customer-defined destination. In Bobsled, Fulfillment is tightly coupled to a Data Consumer and their entitled Data Products. Bobsled provides you with a centralized interface to observe, manage, and troubleshoot fulfillment.
Overview
The Data Fulfillment page provides the following at-a-glance fields:
Name: Internal-only display name for the Data Consumer.
Destination: The preferred platform, cloud, and region where the data is shared to your Consumer (e.g., Snowflake in AWS us-east-1).
Name: An internal-only name given to a share
More options (ellipsis icon):
Edit: Allows you to edit the name of your Data Consumers and destination details.
Data Consumer ID
Unique identifier for that Data Consumer. Check our API documentation ↗ for more information on how to use it programmatically.
Sledhouse status
Bobsled provides information at a glance about your data Sledhouse Table pipeline. These are organized in the following manner:
Active (green): The Sledhouse Table is automated and without any errors
Syncing (blue): Currently transferring data
Failed (red): At least one entity has failed to transfer
Paused (gray): The data transfer is paused and will not attempt to transfer any new data
Queued (gray): The sledhouse table transfer is queued and waiting to transfer
Once your Sledhouse Table is set up, you are now ready to start defining Data Products and sharing them with Data Consumers.
