Sledhouse Tables

Sledhouse Tables are your golden copies in Bobsled-managed, analytics-ready replicas of your source data. In this section, you’ll learn how to create, configure, and keep them in sync so you can power Data Products without repeatedly pulling from your source.


Overview

The Sledhouse Tables page provides the following at-a-glance fields:

  • Name: Unique, internal name for the Sledhouse Table.

  • Data source: The configured source in Bobsled from which this Sledhouse Table is defined.

  • Status: The schedule status of the Sledhouse Table pipeline

  • More options (ellipsis icon):

    • Edit: Allows you to edit the Sledhouse Table

    • Delete: Allows you to delete the Sledhouse Table.

    • Sledhouse Table ID Unique identifier for that Sledhouse Table. Check our API documentation β†— for more information on how to use it programmatically.


Sledhouse status

Bobsled provides information at a glance about your data Sledhouse Table pipeline. These are organized in the following manner:

  • Active (green): The Sledhouse Table is automated and without any errors

  • Syncing (blue): Currently transferring data

  • Failed (red): At least one entity has failed to transfer

  • Paused (gray): The data transfer is paused and will not attempt to transfer any new data

  • Queued (gray): The sledhouse table transfer is queued and waiting to transfer



To add a new Sledhouse Table, select the β€˜Create Sledhouse Table’ button, and follow the setup guide. Once it’s set up, you are now ready to start defining Data Products and sharing them with Data Consumers.
