Bobsled supports SFTP as a source location, allowing Providers to securely transfer data from SFTP servers into any of Bobsled’s supported destinations. Begin by configuring your SFTP server and providing Bobsled with access credentials. A Provider can set up an SFTP source by first creating a user for Bobsled to access and then configuring the SFTP server as a source location in Bobsled. Check the [setup guide](https://docs.bobsled.com/docs/setup-guide-sftp-source) to get started. > [!NOTE] > **SFTP SOURCE** **PUBLIC PREVIEW** This feature is in public preview and may not be suitable for all workloads and use-cases. . > > **KNOWN LIMITATIONS:** > > • **1GB size limit per file.** • **General SFTP limitations**.
