Access the [**Share**](/v2/docs/create-and-manage-a-share) section 2. Choose your source (e.g., GCP) and destination (e.g., Snowflake) 3. Set required permissions for data transfer 4. Select the [data to transfer](/v2/docs/transferring-data) 5. In the review screen, locate and specify a future **End Date** for access expiration 6. Finalize by creating the transfer > [!NOTE] > **NOTE:** Setting the end date to “tomorrow” will revoke access at 00:00 UTC of the following day. --- ### Automatic Actions on End Date When the End Date is reached, the system will automatically: - Change the transfer status to "Paused" - Revoke access permissions for all associated destination accounts This ensures the timely cessation of data sharing and maintains security and policy compliance. --- ### Reinstating Access To restore access after revocation: 1. Go to transfer settings 2. Edit the transfer details 3. Set a new future **End Date** 4. Save changes to reactivate the transfer > [!NOTE] > **NOTE:** Your consumer may need to repeat the steps to consume the data transfer according to the [destination](/v2/docs/destinations). --- ### Verifying Auto-Revoke Process in Logs To confirm successful auto-revocation: 1. Navigate to the **Logs** section 2. Find the entry confirming data transfer revocation as per the set **End Date**
